RECLAIMING THE WEST PHILIPPINE SEA
The area is rich with oil and natural gas deposits
On 27 March 1984, the first Philippine oil company discovered an oil field off Palawan, which is an island province bordering the South China Sea and the Sulu Sea..The oil fields supply 15% of annual oil consumption in the Philippines. . The nine dotted line was originally an "eleven-dotted-line," first indicated by the Kuomintang government of the Republic of China in 1947, for its claims to the South China Sea. It marks the territorial claims by a country.
But on 1996, many countries like Malaysia and Brunei tended to claim the WPS due to the evidences in the Nine Dotted Line.. But in 2012, it was reclaimed the Chinese.
In the current situation, there are many Chinese on the borderlines in the WPS to show their Massive Reclamation. Last month AFP chief Gem. Catapang said that reclamations in some WPS islands is 50% complete.
After some reclamations on the WPS islands like The Spratly’s and the Scarborough Shoal, there is a new reef that is being reclaimed by the Chinese, “The Kagitingan Reef” Some Filipino in there fishing is being harassed by the Chinese. .on the Kagitingan reef and also the Panatag Shoal. On these Evidences, it shows that China is threatening us to fully reclaim the WEST PHILIPPINE SEA.. It is a good attack from the Philippines that they filed a case regarding the reclamation.
We should reclaim the WPS or protect our territory from these foes. These shoals give resources to our country. The islands and reefs on the WPS represents the beauty and natural resources of the Philippines.

EVIDENCES
Of course, it is obvious that the WPS or the West Philippine Sea is very near to us Not in Other countries in Asia. You can see the table here that the Philippines has 8 checks. Plus the WPS is near us and THE WPS IS ALSO INCLUDED OUR TERRITORIAL MAP. For me, WPS IS OURS !CASE CLOSED!
PEOPLE NEED TO WAKE UP, THERE ARE MONSTERS OR
ALIENS STEALING OUR OWN TREASURE JUST LIKE THE WEST PHILIPPINE SEA. WHY THEY
NEED TO OUR ISLANDS IN THE WEST PHILIPPINE SEA? RULES MUST BE CHANGE AND WE ARE
THE CHANGE!!
What's ours is ours, what's theirs is theirs. They should mind their own business. If they need resources, they should do it in a legal and fair way, not by stealing what is ours. We will fight until it becomes ours.
TumugonBurahinYeah, China should do it in a legal way, not in scaring off some fishermen by flaunting out their big ships.
BurahinThere are many countries that are fighting over West Philippine Sea. As far as I know that is already a very long issue and until now, it's not yet solved. Why? Because some countries don't know how to give. And they don't accept what are their belongings, they still seek for more. Why do they need to get it if they know that it's not theirs? To stop that issue, one needs to let go and give. They should stop claiming what is not theirs. But until we know we're right, we should not stop fighting for it. West Philippine Sea belongs to Philippines.
TumugonBurahinThe never-ending issue between China and the Philippines fighting over the South China Sea/West Philippine Sea has been a hot and very long topic that has stirred up forums and discussions about whoever really owns this territory. Well, based on the points and researches in this blog, you can really say that the Philippines really has a strong claim on the WPS. China is becoming more aggressive as time passes. Since it is a big country, shouldn't it be more of an advocate for peace between countries rather than starting the tensions itself? Come on, China is a great nation yet it is the one starting the chaos. The need to resolve this issue grows as more tensions are arising. Well, may God bless us all!
TumugonBurahinAng China dpat alam nila kung hanggang saan ang knilng sasakupan dhil nklagay sa law iyon. Hindi sila dapat lumbag sa law. May ibinigay n km kung hanghang saan ang knilang teritoryo
TumugonBurahinWest philippine sea is ours. China should stop reclaiming what is ours...
TumugonBurahinThe China should stop claiming what is ours, they do not have enough evidences to prove their claim. It's just their so called "historic ship" that traveled the West Philippine Sea and in a snap of a finger it is now theirs. What if our ancestors traveled the land of China or even their sea side? Should we claim it like the way they do just because it's part of the history? NO. WE SHOULD NOT DO THAT. We should follow the rules and respect each country's rights. We should not claim other's property because we saw it as a good investment, and besides we have several, rather many evidences to prove our claim. I hope we can succeed in reclaiming what is rightfully ours. God Bless!
TumugonBurahinThere must be a best way to settle this issue with China. Hope that it will come to our way, to really claim what is ours in the very beginning.
